- The first step of the procedure is to open the Windows Movie Maker. Now once the software has been launched, import the video from the hard disk so that the video is displayed on the storyboard of the Windows Movie Maker.
- In the next step, click on the home button from the top menu ribbon and click on Record Narration.
- Once the options have been displayed, click on the Record button and start recording the voice as per your requirements. After completing the recording, you can then click on the stop button to save the file.If in case you have a pre-recorded file for the sound then instead of recording the narration completely, you can simply click on the home button followed by the record narration button. Click on the arrow to display the drop-down menu and then click on the add sound button. You will then be able to add the recorded file to the video.
- Add this sound file on the storyboard so that you can save the video along with the sound. Once that has been done, click on the file button from the top menu and click on save movies button.
